The lack of a proper reception area was a problem. It felt more like an upmarket bed and breakfast than a full-service hotel. I found this particularly inconvenient when needing assistance with luggage. The staff seemed unprepared to handle requests promptly and efficiently.

a decent stay in a central area

the breakfast was really good. i especially liked the made-to-order omelets. the staff was attentive (not overly friendly, but helpful).
the area around the hotel was very noisy. a mcdonald's across the street seemed to be open all the time. the bathroom products were not great (i expected more from a hotel like this).

a romantic heart in the city

The location was divine. I found myself just steps away from the trevi fountain (a treasure i visited every evening). the staff, especially ivan, provided a concierge service throughout the stay. i was charmed by the daily cleaning and evening turn-down service. It added an extra layer of care.
I noticed the area can be quite noisy. a mcdonald's across the street was active late into the night. Earplugs are a must if you value a tranquil rest.

the gym included top tier equipment it was also always very clean. the room i stayed in was a good size room it was quite comfortable. the breakfast had multiple choices on the menu i found it an upside to my stay.
the products in the bathrooms are poor i feel this could be improved. the area is very noisy all day i could hear noise well into the night. a mcdonald's opposite the hotel operates 24/7 i feel this added to the disturbance.

mixed feelings about my stay

The minibar selection was quite limited. I expected more variety for a hotel of this supposed caliber. also, the soundproofing could be improved significantly. street noise was noticeable, especially late at night, disrupting my sleep. i found this unacceptable.
